KOSBE OFFERS “GETTING READY FOR THE BANK” LUNCH & learn
KINGSPORT, Tenn. – The Small Business Development Center ETSU – Kingsport Affiliate will host “Getting Ready for the Bank” on Thursday, January 22 from 12 to 1:30 p.m. at your Kingsport Chamber of Commerce. The event is presented by First Citizens Bank and co-sponsored by the Kingsport Office of Small Business Development and Entrepreneurship (KOSBE), and your Kingsport Chamber of Commerce.
To get funding from the bank, the bank will need both budgets and documentation of your key activities. By providing critical information that is already prepackaged for ease and convenience, you can save valuable time and speed up the processing time of your loan request. Attendees should expect to receive an overview of all documentation that will be needed for the bank, including company organization documents, client list, marketing plan, risk analysis, and credit history. There will be a question and answer session, as well.
Speakers for this seminar are Aundrea Wilcox, Mike Hill, and Allison Elliot. Wilcox serves as the KOSBE Executive Director and assists clients with applying for small business loans. Hill serves as the Market Executive at First Citizens Bank, while Elliot serves as the Service Manager at First Citizens Bank.
When asked why small business owners should attend, Aundrea Wilcox, KOSBE Executive Director, responded: “It takes time to get through the loan process. Don’t wait until you have a dire situation to start seeking sources of capital. Business owners need to give themselves enough time for due diligence.”
There is no cost to attend, but pre-registration is required. Please R.S.V.P. online at http://bit.ly/bankprep, or by contacting Dana Glenn, who can be reached at 423.392.8825 or dglenn@tsbdc.org.
