KOSBE TO HOST SMALL BUSINESS ASSOCIATION (SBA) LENDER EXPORT SEMINAR
KINGSPORT, Tenn. – The Small Business Association (SBA) will host a lender export seminar on Wednesday, August 27 from 9 to 11 a.m. at your Kingsport Chamber of Commerce. The event is co-sponsored by the Kingsport Office of Small Business Development and Entrepreneurship (KOSBE) and Small Business Development Center ETSU – Kingsport Affiliate.
The seminar is open to financial lenders. Attendees should expect to learn what a pivotal role lenders play in helping small business exporters to compete in and succeed in the global market. The U.S SBA is ready and willing to meet capital needs necessary to help American businesses fund their export transactions and expand their local operations to meet overseas demand, but they are unable to do this without the help of local lending partners.
“An export sale should never be missed because of the lack of financing,” said Dan Holt, Dan Holt, U.S. Small Business Administration – U.S. Export Assistance Center, U.S. Small Business Administration – U.S. Export Assistance Center.
Speakers at the seminar include Maria Lloyd, SBA Lender Relations Specialist, and Dan Holt.
There is no cost to attend, but pre-registration is required. Please R.S.V.P. online at http://bit.ly/X3CJA1, or by contacting Dana Glenn, who can be reached at 423.392.8825 or dglenn@tsbdc.org.
