KOSBE Offers MicroMarketing and SBA Loan Workshop

The Small Business Development Center ETSU – Kingsport Affiliate will lead a MicroMarketing and SBA Loan Workshop on Thursday, May 28, from 1 to 3 PM, at the Rogersville/Hawkins County Chamber of Commerce. This training is co-sponsored by the Kingsport Office of Small Business Development and Entrepreneurship (KOSBE), the Small Business Administration, and your Kingsport Chamber of Commerce.

This training is open to small business owners and entrepreneurs who are interested in learning more about obtaining a loan from the Small Business Administration and/or are interested in learning about marketing strategies that are affordable, eassy to implement, and are aimed toward small businesses with ten or fewer employees.

Attendees should expect to learn more about capital resources available to help small businesses succeed, where the money is, the “new normal” of lending, and the latest on crowdfunding. Attendees should also expect to learn about affordable and easy to implement MicroMarketing strategies.

This training will be led by Jacqueline Merritt, Economic Development Specialist for the Small Business Administration, Tennessee District Office, and Aundrea Y. Wilcox, KOSBE Executive Director and Certified GrowthWheel® Business Advisor™ for the SBDC ETSU — Kingsport Affiliate Office.

“This training is a great opportunity for small business owners and entrepreneurs to meet their district representative from the Small Business Administration, ask any questions they may have, and to learn more about the inner workings of the SBA,” said Aundrea Y.
